Four matching undated volumes, estimated late 19th century
All volumes display wear to edges of boards, heads and bases of spines rubbed partially bare, spots of fading as if from a liquid stain on covers, matching bookplates to front pastedowns, matching inscriptions in pen on front endpapers, occasional light foxing or dark smudges but mostly clean internally.
Volume 1 has title page and four plates loose, front board loose.
Volume 2 has a pair of pages coming loose, hanging on by the bottom, and a few spots of separation at the gutter.

Volume 4 has segment at head of spine flapping by one end, occasional separation at gutter. Additional inscriptions to endpapers, these ones in pencil, also on endpapers of this volume.
