(II3) Dated 1814, which is when the first edition was first published but does say 2nd edition on title page, but because of the date stated, we are assuming this is a 1st uk edition
Says also 'volume 1' and makes reference to volume 2 in the preface to the 2nd Edition but no record of it being written can be found; please correct me if im wrong but i suspect volume 2 does not exist.
beautifully bound book; some staining to spine; but overall boards are very clean; fore edges very clean; a bit of foxing on the fep and ffep and on title page a little bit; previous owner signature on title page; some tanning throughout but overall clean for age; more information and photographs upon request
