Edinburgh, printed by the heir of Andrew Anderson, Printer to His most Sacred Majesty, Anno Dom. 1683. Hardcover, 769 pages plus an index. Bound in full leather, with six raised bandsr, gilt stamped decoration and titles on the spine. Rubbed and worn extremities, corners worn etc. Cracking to spine hinges but not detached and book still firmly bound. Loss to head and heel of psine. Endpapers have darkened borders, owner's label to front pastedown. Darkened top and fore edge. A couple of mild fox-spots to prelims but generally fox-free and very good internally.
