5 photographs showing Kaiser willhelm II on what appears to be a front-line troop inspection.
The rear lining paper is loose and heavily fragmented as it came to me that way, perhaps after someone previously tried to access the pictures inside. I have removed the rather rusty pins myself and accessed the inside to clean the glass and found the photographs have a paper back glued on for framing so can't see the back of the photographs but I do believe they are aged from Circa 1910's
Photographs are faded somewhat dependent on the light. The surface of the photographs appear to be matt/paper in texture rather than a shiny suface.
Frame has been put back together as I found it, still some dust marks inside on the lining board but better visibility now the glass is cleaned.
I'm not an expert on old photographs and I can't be sure these are original photographs from a camera film or reproduced another way given the texture is paper like and they are glued in place, but they certainly seem from the time period of WW1.
Frame is approximately 42cm x 28cm. Each pictures are approximately 8cm x 10cm
