(Ref.S2 ) Half calf leather bound to marbled paper covered boards. Gilt spine titles to black overlay. Spine is very much rubbed with shelfwear to edges, creasing etc which obscured titles. Some loss and tearing to head and heel of spine. Leather is missing to corners. Rubbing and wear to board surfaces. Darkened top and foredge with some dark foxes. Tanning and foxing to endpapers. Some foxing to page edges prelims and occasionally elsewhere. Previous owner's signatures to front pastedown and endpapers. Tanning and foxing to rear of all engravings. Some play to boards. Binding cracked at inside hinges but still holding firm. Contents otherwise good and complete; more information and photographs upon request
