Complete set of 3 published by William Blackwood for the Scottish Text Society All very good though Vol I's leather is a little scuffed and rubbed. Very mild foxing to interleaves.
'New series' and 'Third series' on the spines seems to refer to the books place in the series of texts published by the Scottish Text Society, and not to the edition of the books. At any rate, it is the same as the set in the national library of scotland, the description Vol III reads 'This is the final volume of The Works of William Fowler, the first having been issued in 1914 and the second in 1936'. This is also confirmed by the Scottish Text Society website.
